It’s not essential you obtain a referral
However, with a referral or Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible to receive the Medicare rebate of $128.40 per session for up to 20 sessions per calendar year. Chat to your GP to see if you are eligible.
Alternatively, you may be able to make a claim with your private health insurance provider. Please check with your health fund for details.
Referrals are accepted via fax or email, or bring it along to your first appointment.

Initial session
The first session takes a little longer, giving you the time to share your history with Reuben and work out a plan forward.

Supervision for psychologists
Reuben is accredited to provide professional and clinical supervision including supervision for the purpose of clinical endorsement. He is an approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), an endorsed Clinical Psychologist, a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and is STAP Accredited.

Education
